Yesterday I met with two amazing young women who are going to help me get some exposure for Lizzie Lou Shoes. They are communication majors at Trinity University in San Antonio and are interested in working with me to gain some experience and be a part of my growing company.
Being back on Trinity's campus was very exciting for me. It looked so different from when I was there in '92 - '95. The campus has had an elaborate make over and I was surprised to see so many changes.
After talking with Brandi and Katie for awhile, I realized I had been in their same situation 15 years ago. It made me remember what it was like to be young and full of enthusiasm. I too was a communications major, but so much has changed since '95. When I was in school, there was no such thing as Face Book, twitter or even blogging. The girls probably know more than I do about how these new media outlets can be used in business today.
I can't wait to see what they can come up with for Lizzie Lou Shoes.
